Our client, a reputable retail chains company is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Director to join them

Cấp quản lý / Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Mô tả chung / Job Purpose or Summary:

Be in charge of implementing effective financial and business unit planning, strategic resource allocation and management of business unit performance, both short-term and long-term. Help the Company become more strategy driven by taking responsibility to link the BU’s operational planning, budgeting and performance management to the Company’s strategic goals. 

Trách nhiệm chính / Main Responsibilities

Organization and Team Management

  • Develop team organization structure, job descriptions, process, budget to perform the company strategies/goals’ periodical review or whenever necessary;
  • Develop departmental and individual KPIs, do alignment with direct line manager and ensure the target achievement;
  • Set targets to subordinates by assigning KPIs, giving instructions, supporting for achieving the targets and ensuring performance appraisal as requested;
  • Build-up and develop the team, organize and assign tasks, manage the team performance; implement the employees’ competence evaluation and have professional development activities to fix gap between the current and expectation;
  • Deliver training of processes, procedures, work standards/ instructions to subordinates, and ensure the compliance within the delegated function;
  • Create best practices for the teams in the systematic approach and ensure activities are delivered in line with these best practices (Includes SOPs, process, policies, work instructions, improvement ideas);
  • Motivate, encourage employee engagement and ensure a positive work environment;
  • Comply with the Company’s processes, procedures, regulations, and standards;
  • Do alignment about the individual KPIs with the direct line manager and ensure the target achievement;

Finance Business Partnering

  • Support internal stakeholders/partners decision making by robust financial analysis and deep knowledge of financial operation and expertise;
  • Develop frameworks to guide internal stakeholders/partners to optimize cost spending;
  • Develop business cases to launch new products and business models;
  • Main liaison for internal stakeholders/partners with other finance functions, such as finance controlling, accounting, treasury, …

Performance Management and Reporting

  • Develop close working relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of monthly forecast and ensuring accurate delivery of result as per monthly financial forecast;
  • Guide business towards target delivery through budget control and other business decisions as needed.
  • Be the contact point for internal stakeholders/partners to help interface with the finance division on reporting of results, ensuring timely and accurate submissions;
  • Analysis, insight and control over targets and actual performance measures;
  • Information management, process simplification and automation; 
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery of financial services.

Pricing analysis and strategy:

  • In change of market checking for all and related products that PMC is selling.
  • Corporate with trading team to ensure the pricing strategies that competitive with the market but to ensure the suitable profit margin to company.

Yêu cầu / Requirements

Trình độ học vấn / Education: Bachelor degree or upper in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.

Chuyên môn / Professional major:

  • Theoretical knowledge/understanding: good knowledge in finance, economic, accounting;
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA/CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus;
  • Experience working in pharmacy, retail or healthcare sectors is a plus.

Khả năng ngoại ngữ / 2nd language ability: Fluent in English and Vietnamese. 

Khả năng vi tính / Computer usage ability: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Kinh nghiệm làm việc / Related experiences: At least 10 years of proven Finance experience or 5 years of experiences in financial leadership roles. Experience in Retail Company is preferred.

  • Strong at skill of:
    • Data analysis;
    • Presentations and data visualization;
    • Financial modeling & research model creation;
    • Information collection/preparation;
  • Deep knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills;
  • Hardworking, mental flexibility, initiative and determination.
