Mô tả chung / Job Purpose or Summary:
The Vice President (VP) of Investment will be responsible for leading and executing strategic mergers & acquisitions (M&A), initial public offerings (IPO), and fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deal sourcing, financial structuring, due diligence, and stakeholder management to drive the company’s growth and value creation. This role requires a strong background in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance.
Trách nhiệm chính / Main Responsibilities
Investment Strategy:
- Develop and implement investment strategies to maximize returns and mitigate risks.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and economic indicators to guide investment decisions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align investment initiatives with the company’s long-term vision and objectives.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
- Identify, evaluate, and execute potential M&A opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
- Lead end-to-end transaction processes, including financial modeling, due diligence, negotiations, and deal structuring.
- Work closely with legal, tax, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Develop and present investment recommendations to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors.
Initial Public Offering (IPO):
- Drive the company’s IPO readiness, ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial requirements.
- Collaborate with investment banks, auditors, legal advisors, and underwriters to develop a robust IPO strategy.
- Oversee financial reporting, prospectus preparation, investor presentations, and roadshows.
- Monitor capital market trends and assess the optimal timing for the IPO.
Fundraising & Investor Relations:
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies, including private equity, venture capital, and debt financing.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and key stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of investment materials, pitch decks, and financial projections.
- Provide insights on market trends and investment opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing investment team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development within the team.
Oversee performance evaluations and talent development strategies to enhance team capabilities.
Yêu cầu / Requirements
Trình độ học vấn / Education: Bachelor or above
Chuyên môn / Professional major:
- Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
Khả năng ngoại ngữ / 2nd language ability: Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
Khả năng vi tính / Computer usage ability: Strong data analytics skills (Excel, PowerBI, SQL, etc).
Kinh nghiệm làm việc / Related experiences:
- 10+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or related fields.
- Proven track record in executing M&A deals, IPOs, and fundraising initiatives.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence skills.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with cross-functional teams
